Service Agreement & Terms of Service

Please review these terms before scheduling or receiving service from Copper IT Services.

1. Introduction

This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the IT services provided by Copper IT Services (“Provider”) to any individual or business (“Client”). By scheduling service, using this website, or receiving support, the Client agrees to these Terms.

2. Services Provided

Provider offers, but is not limited to, the following services:

  • On-site and remote IT support
  • PC & Mac troubleshooting
  • Wi-Fi and network repair
  • Device setup and configuration
  • Small business cybersecurity
  • Microsoft 365 administration
  • Executive tech concierge services
  • Security assessments and hardening
  • Data migration and backup guidance

Provider may recommend third-party products or services but is not responsible for their performance, licensing, or terms.

3. Appointments & Access

Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information about issues to be resolved
  • Ensure safe physical and digital access to equipment and networks
  • Provide necessary passwords only when essential to perform work

Copper IT Services does not retain passwords after work is completed and recommends changing passwords after major service sessions.

4. Payments & Billing

  • Standard services are billed per appointment or per project.
  • Business support packages are billed monthly unless otherwise agreed.
  • Payment is due at the time of service unless alternative arrangements are made.
  • Travel fees may apply outside primary service areas.

Accepted forms of payment may include cash, card, and digital invoicing.

5. Limited Warranty

Copper IT Services guarantees professional, best-effort service but does not guarantee:

  • Recovery of lost or corrupted data
  • Resolution of issues caused by failing or incompatible hardware
  • Results when systems are unsupported, outdated, or compromised

Work performed is warrantied for 7 days regarding the same issue, unless the issue is caused by new changes, user actions, malware, or external factors.

6. Liability Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Copper IT Services is not liable for loss of data, business interruption, or consequential damages. Client is responsible for maintaining current backups of all critical data.

Provider’s total liability is limited to the amount paid by Client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

7. Security & Privacy

Copper IT Services does not intentionally access personal data except as necessary to perform the requested service. We do not sell or share Client information.

Client is encouraged to log out of personal accounts and close sensitive documents before service when possible.

8. Remote Support

For remote sessions, Client agrees to install any required tools (such as Quick Assist, Zoom, or other remote software) and to grant temporary access as needed.

Remote access is granted only for the duration of the session and may be revoked by the Client at any time.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate ongoing services at any time. No refunds are issued for completed work or time already spent on diagnosis or remediation.
